Laser pulses are delivered through the vagina to the problematic prolapsed areas and to the whole surface of the vagina. ProlapLase® is designed to cause minimal discomfort and is well received by patients. A special laser handpiece, similar to a speculum used during a Pap test, is inserted into the vagina. The vaginal region is then treated with thermal laser pulses.

The treatment is non-invasive, allowing you to resume your normal daily activities immediately, without the need for analgesics or antibiotics. The procedure lasts approximately 30 minutes. Depending on the severity of the prolapse, between 3 to 5 sessions are needed with a one-month interval recommendation.
